Newborns sessions are a favorite of mine to photograph. I love capturing your little one’s expressions like sleepy yawns, happy smiles, and scrunchie noses. The newborn stage is here for such a short period of time and it’s the best reward to provide my clients with tangible moments they can hold near and dear to their heart forever.
What to Expect the Day of your Session |
When you arrive on the day of your session, you can expect to walk into a light and airy temperature controlled studio space. My studio has two walls of windows letting in the most beautiful morning light. Upon your arrival, I’ll have various stylized newborn sets ready to go along with outfits, swaddles, props etc. This ensures smooth transitioning between each set to keep your little one comfortable throughout the session.

You are always welcome to include your family at your newborn session, I encourage it! I keep a lifestyle space set up which is perfect for family photos. We will capture a variety of lifestyle family photos including the whole family, mom & dad, and sibling photos. A newborn is an addition to the family and these are just the sweetest moments to capture.
Your Newborn Sets the Pace |
My newborn sessions are created with enough time in mind to attend to your baby’s needs. We will follow their lead and make sure they are fed, burped, changed, and happy throughout the session.
I always recommend booking your newborn session within the first 10-14 days of birth. Although, it’s most important to book the session when mom, baby and the rest of the family are feeling up to it. I want you to feel the most comfortable with being up and out of the house and also being photographed!
You can arrive at your session knowing I have everything you need to capture these memorable moments. My studio features a newborn client closet, baskets, textures and fabrics, newborn props, backdrops, florals, greenery and more. I will always ask for your input so that we bring the vision you have to life!
