Welcome! I’m Stephanie Amaya, owner and lead photographer of Amaya Marie Photography. My business was established in 2015 and is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am a self-taught photographer with 12+ years of experience in editing, professional retouching, photoshop design, and a lifetime of passion for creative photography. I grew up in the industry with a love for commercial & creative modeling. I spent most of my 20s working in front of the camera as a model for SEWPPA workshops, buzz sessions, and freelance photographers. My experience as a model taught me everything I know about posing, lighting, and composition.

I ventured into photography after discovering my true passion was to be the storyteller; the creative visionary behind the lens. My photographic style is bursting with authentic expressions & candid details. I find inspiration through colors and textural elements in my photos. My editing is creative yet natural, preserving true skin tones & true color hues. I go into every shoot with a creative vision and my goal is to always provide my clients with photos that move the soul. My business specializes in boudoir, portraits, and intimate weddings. I also dabble in food, product, and nature photography.
